Many times it takes the parting of a person to fully realize the effect that they had in this world. This however was not the case in the life of Gerrit Nel. He was a man driven with purpose and destiny to be all that he was created to be.  His life purpose was to honor God as his maker and make Him known as a Father and Bridegroom to His bride. 

Nothing could slow him down and nothing could get in the way of building God’s Kingdom. He touched and impacted everyone that crossed his path. His vision for building the Kingdom left those around him inspired and motivated to do the same.  He was a disciple of God and a leader of his generation, one who had no fear of telling and revealing the truth of the word of God. 

Gerrit Nel was the visionary behind the Summer Camp, and his parting on 28th of October 2018 left a great void in our team.

The vision of the Summer Camp still burns in the hearts of Martie Nel and the rest of the Hebrew People team and we will continue to host the annual Summer Camp and build further on this vision.
